The Human Story

Malika Handa (born on March 20, 1995) from Jalandhar, Punjab, having disability of hearing impaired (Deaf and Dumb) is the first Indian girl to win the Gold Medal in the International Deaf and Dumb Championship held at Mongolia in August 2016. Malika`s, hardwork, dedication and love for Chess has created wonders since 2012, by winning National, Asian and World Deaf Championships. She has also won Silver Medal at World Open Blitz Championships 2016 Armenia. She is recipient of many accolades.
