Divyang Kite Festival (Divyang Patang Mahotsav) was organized on January 15, 2017 at Race Course Ground, Rajkot, Gujarat from 9 am to 12 noon. 4629 differently abled children known as Divyang participated, in the august presence of Shri Vijaybhai Rupani, Honorable Chief Minister of Gujarat.
This event was jointly organized and coordinated by Dr. Vikrant Pandey (Hon. Collector, Rajkot District), Shri Anupam Singh Gehlot (Hon. Police Commissioner, Rajkot City and Head of Suraksha Setu Society, Rajkot), Shri Antrip Sood (Superintendent of Police, and Head of Suraksha Setu Society, Rajkot Rural), Shri Kanaksinh Zala (Social Defense Officer, Rajkot) and Ms. Pooja Patel (Prayas Parent Association).
